Motor vehicle dealer board - creation

(1) There is hereby created and
established the motor vehicle dealer board, consisting of nine members who have been residents
of this state for at least five years, three of whom shall be licensed motor vehicle dealers, three of
whom shall be licensed used motor vehicle dealers, and three of whom shall be members from
the public at large. The members representing the public at large shall not have a present or past
financial interest in a motor vehicle dealership. The terms of office of the board members shall
be three years. Any vacancies shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term.
(2) All board members shall be appointed by the governor.
(3) Each board member shall be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred
while engaged in the discharge of official duties.
