Street budgets

In each city, city and county, and incorporated town, the
street supervisor or authorized budget officer, in compliance with the local government budget
law, shall prepare each year a tentative street budget covering all proposed expenditures for the
ensuing calendar year for the city street system. He shall submit the same as his recommended
budget for the city street system to the city council or local governing authority for approval.
