(1) Every certificate of purchase or certificate of redemption that is issued to any person under this part 4 shall be assignable by indorsement thereon or by separate assignment, and the assignee shall be treated for all purposes as the original holder of the certificate of purchase or certificate of redemption. A separate assignment of a certificate of purchase or a certificate of redemption shall contain: (a) The name and address of the assignee; (b) The name and address of the assignor; (c) A description of the property; (d) The name of the foreclosing holder of the evidence of debt; and (e) The number of the foreclosure sale held by the public trustee or the case number of the judicial foreclosure.
