Foreclosure of mortgage

All charges upon registered land, or any estate or
interest in the same, and any right thereunder may be enforced as is permitted by law, and all
laws relating to the foreclosure of mortgages shall apply to mortgages upon registered land or
any estate or interest therein, except as otherwise provided in this section, and except that a
notice of the pendency of any suit or of any proceeding to enforce or foreclose the mortgage or
any charge shall be filed in the office of the registrar of titles, and a memorial thereof entered on
the register at the time of or prior to the commencement of such suit or the beginning of any such
proceeding. A notice so filed and registered shall be notice to the registrar of titles and all
persons dealing with the land or any part thereof. When a mortgagee's duplicate has been issued,
such duplicate shall, at the time of the registering of the notice, be presented, and a memorial of
such notice shall be entered upon the mortgagee's duplicate.
