Colorado Code § 37-95-121

Effect on inconsistent acts and rules and regulations adopted

thereunder. It is the intent of the general assembly that, in the event of any conflict or
inconsistency in the provisions of this article and any other statutes pertaining to matters
established or provided for in this article or in any rules and regulations adopted under this
article or under said other statutes, to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency, the provisions
of this article and the rules and regulations adopted under this article shall be enforced, and the
provisions of such other statutes and rules and regulations adopted thereunder shall be of no
force and effect; except that nothing in this article shall be construed to amend or affect any
existing water law.
