Colorado Code § 37-43-125

Election - notice - canvass. Whenever it is desired to sell property of the

district, the board of directors, by resolution entered in the minutes of their proceedings, shall
submit such questions to the qualified voters of said district at a special election of the district
called for such purpose or at a general district election when noticed as provided in this section.
The notice of said election shall be published and posted for the same length of time and in the
same manner and the election shall be conducted the same as in case of an election for an
original issue of bonds. The notice shall also contain a general description of the property, or
interest therein, to be sold, the conditions of the terms of sale, the time and manner of payment,
and such other information as may be necessary to fully advise the voters of the facts, together
with the substance of any plan proposed to carry the same into execution and any settlement with
the bondholders of the district, or any proposed contract may be published in full. The ballot
shall contain such appropriate words as shall enable the electors to indicate their approval or
disapproval of the propositions submitted. The returns shall be canvassed and the statements of
the results of said election shall be entered and filed in the same manner as in case of an original
issue of bonds. Two or more propositions may be submitted at the same election.
