Bond issue - purposes - election

For the purpose of constructing a drainage
system and necessary works for any drainage district and acquiring the necessary property and
rights therefor, of paying the first year's interest upon the bonds authorized in this article, and of
otherwise carrying out the provisions of articles 20 to 30 of this title, the board of directors of
any drainage district may estimate and determine the amount of money necessary to be raised for
such purposes and is empowered to call a special election to determine whether or not bonds of
said district shall be issued in the amount so determined.
