Colorado Code § 37-22-105

Warrants - no funds - interest

When any warrants of a drainage district are
presented to the treasurer and there are no funds in his hands to pay the same, he shall stamp the
same in the same manner as ordinary county warrants are stamped, and they shall draw interest
at the rate of six percent per annum from the date of their presentation until paid.
