(1) The state board of land commissioners is authorized to collect fees for the issuance of leases, patents, certificates of purchase, right-of- way documents, and recording assignments, for the making of township plats, for the filing of bonds, and for the filing of all documents necessary to be filed in the office at amounts set by the board which shall cover all direct and indirect costs of the board in the administration of this article. (2) All moneys collected by the state board of land commissioners for fees collected as specified in subsection (1) of this section shall be deposited by the director of the state board of land commissioners with the state treasurer for credit as provided in section 36-1-148.
