Colorado Code § 35-5-110

Public nuisance - abatement

Any noxious weeds, insect pests, or plant
diseases with respect to which a control district has been proclaimed, and any and all stages
thereof, their carriers, and any and all premises, plants, and things infested or exposed to
infestation therewith within such area are declared to be a public nuisance, subject to all laws
and remedies relating to the prevention and abatement of nuisances. The inspector, under the
supervision and direction of the commissioner and with the approval of the board of county
commissioners, in a summary manner or otherwise, may take such action, including removal and
destruction, with reference to such nuisance as in his discretion seems necessary. The remedies
of this section shall be cumulative with all other remedies provided in this article.
