It is unlawful for any person, except a parks and
recreation officer or other peace officer, to operate a motorized vehicle on a signed and
designated nonmotorized trail. Any person who violates this section commits a petty offense
and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of one hundred fifty dollars.
