Signatures on bonds

(1) The bonds and any coupons bearing the signatures
of officers in office on the date of the signing thereof shall be valid and binding obligations of
the county, notwithstanding that before the delivery thereof and payment therefor any or all of
the persons whose signatures appear thereon shall have ceased to be officers of the county
issuing the same.
(2) Any officer authorized or permitted to sign any bond or interest coupon, at the time
of its execution and of the execution of a signature certificate, may adopt as and for his own
facsimile signature the facsimile signature of his predecessor in office in the event that such
facsimile signature appears upon the bond or coupons appertaining thereto, or upon both the
bond and such coupons.
