Chief deputy treasurer - duties

The county treasurer may appoint a chief
deputy, who in the absence of the treasurer from his or her office, or in case of vacancy in said
office, for any disability of the treasurer to perform the duties of his or her office, may perform
all the duties of the office of treasurer, until such vacancy is filled or such disability removed.
All acts of a chief deputy treasurer shall have the same effect as though performed by the county
treasurer.
