As used in this part 6, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) "Employer" means a municipality, county, district attorney, or state agency that employs one or more peace officers. (2) "Peace officer" means a peace officer described in section 16-2.5-101 (1). (3) "Trust" means a multiple employer health trust described in section 10-3-903.5 (7)(b)(I) that is established for the purposes of this part 6.
