Advisory committee

(1) There is hereby established an advisory committee
to the department for the purposes of making recommendations to the department and reporting
to the house and senate committees on health and human services, or any successor committees,
concerning the rules promulgated by the state board pursuant to this article, implementation of
the licensing program, the impact of the program, and the effectiveness of enforcement. The
advisory committee shall consist of not fewer than nine members to be appointed by the
executive director of the department. The committee shall elect its own chairperson. Such
members shall be representatives from assisted living residences, the Colorado commission on
the aging, county, district, or municipal public health agencies, or local boards of health, and
consumer and other agencies and organizations providing services to or concerned with residents
of assisted living residences. Members of the advisory committee shall serve on a voluntary
basis and shall serve without compensation.
(2) and (3) Repealed.
