Contract of purchase authorized. At the direction of the governor, the

attorney general is authorized to enter into contracts or agreements on behalf of the state of
Colorado with the federal government, or any of its duly constituted agencies, to procure and
convey to the federal government, or any of its duly constituted agencies, all lands and rights
pertaining to the site situate in Boulder county, Colorado, containing five hundred and fifty
acres, more or less, selected as the location for the facilities and laboratories of the national
center for atmospheric research.
