Notification and correction of defects

A manufacturer to be certified as
meeting federal standards must furnish notification of any defect in a manufactured home
produced by the manufacturer that the manufacturer determines, in good faith, relates to a
manufactured home construction or safety standard or constitutes an imminent safety hazard to
the purchaser of the manufactured home within a reasonable time after the manufacturer has
discovered the defect in accordance with the provisions under the federal act or any board rule.
