Division of commerce and development - creation - director - assistants

There is created a division in the department of local affairs to be known as the division of
commerce and development, referred to in this part 3 as the "division". The executive director of
the department shall appoint a director of the division. The director shall appoint assistants and
clerical employees as necessary to effectively administer this part 3. The director, assistants, and
employees are appointed pursuant to section 13 of article XII of the state constitution. The
division and the office of the director are type 2 entities, as defined in section 24-1-105.
