Colorado youth service corps fund - created

(1) There is hereby created
in the state treasury a fund to be known as the Colorado youth service corps fund, which shall be
administered by the executive director of the department of local affairs.
(2) All moneys received pursuant to section 24-32-2011 and any other moneys received
by the youth service corps shall be placed in said fund.
(3) The general assembly shall make annual appropriations of the moneys in the fund to
the department for allocation to the youth service corps for administering the provisions of this
part 20. All interest derived from the deposit and investment of moneys in the fund shall be
credited to the fund.
(4) Any moneys in the fund not appropriated shall remain in the fund and shall not be
transferred or revert to the general fund of the state at the end of any fiscal year.
(5) The general assembly shall make no general fund appropriation to either the fund or
the department of local affairs for payment of any deficiency in the fund in the event that
moneys in the fund are not sufficient for the costs of administering the provisions of this part 20.
