Emergency contracts

In a situation for which the principal representative
determines it is necessary to make emergency contracts because there exists a threat to public
health, welfare, or safety under emergency conditions, there is no requirement of public notice,
or of compliance with the selection process pursuant to this part 14, but the principal
representative shall document, in writing, the basis for the emergency and for the selection of the
particular person to provide professional services.
