Games managers - certification

(1) The licensing authority shall issue a
games manager certification to any qualified applicant who has demonstrated sufficient
knowledge of this part 6, as determined by the licensing authority, and who has paid the fee
established in accordance with section 24-21-606 (2). A games manager certification shall be
valid for a time period to be determined by the licensing authority by rule, and may be denied,
suspended, or revoked for any violation of this part 6 or any rule or order of the licensing
authority promulgated or issued pursuant to this part 6.
(2) A person is not eligible for certification or to act as a games manager in the conduct
of a game of chance pursuant to this part 6 unless the person is eighteen years of age or older.
(3) A person is not eligible for certification or to act as a games manager in the conduct
of any game of chance pursuant to this part 6 if the person has been convicted of any
misdemeanor involving gambling or any felony.
(4) Unless authorized by the licensing authority in accordance with the rules of the
licensing authority, a person shall not be designated or serve as a games manager for more than
three bingo-raffle licensees simultaneously. The licensing authority may promulgate rules
establishing the circumstances under which a person may be designated and serve as games
manager for more than three bingo-raffle licensees.
