Community colleges - high school diplomas - approval

(1) The board
may establish and approve graduation requirements for a high school diploma. A community
college shall award a high school diploma to a student who successfully completes the high
school graduation requirements approved by the board.
(2) A service provider may partner with a community college to provide courses that
lead to a high school diploma or an industry-recognized credential.
(3) As used in this section, "service provider" means a nonprofit entity or for-profit
entity that enters into a formal, negotiated contract for educational services with a community
college.
