Dental therapy training programs - authorization to grant advanced standing - definition

(1) As used in this section, "state institution of higher education" has the
same meaning as set forth in section 23-18-102 (10)(a).
(2) A state institution of higher education offering an accredited dental therapy training
program may grant advanced standing toward completion of an accredited dental therapy
program if a student demonstrates past completion of curriculum that meets or exceeds the
content standards for one or more courses that comprise the dental therapy curriculum accredited
by the American Dental Association's commission on dental accreditation, or its successor
organization.
