Legislative intent in enacting section 16-5-401

(6) and (7). (1) The intent
of the general assembly in enacting section 16-5-401 (6) and (7) in 1982 was to create a ten-year
statute of limitations as to offenses and delinquent acts specified in said subsections committed
on or after July 1, 1979.
(2) (Deleted by amendment, L. 94, p. 1050, § 4, effective July 1, 1994.)
