Fingerprinting - ordered by court

(1) If the offender has not been
fingerprinted and photographed for the charges pending before the court, the court at the first
appearance of the offender after the filing of charges shall order the offender to report to the
investigating agency within fourteen days for fingerprinting and photographing. The
investigating agency shall endorse upon a copy of the order the completion of the fingerprinting
and photographing and return the same to the court. At least one set of fingerprints and one set of
photographs ordered pursuant to this section shall be forwarded by the investigating agency to
the Colorado bureau of investigation in a form and manner prescribed by such bureau.
(2) Any fingerprints required by this section to be forwarded shall be forwarded within
twenty-four hours after completion; except that such time period shall not include Saturdays,
Sundays, and legal holidays.
