Colorado Code § 13-93-106

Persons forbidden to practice

No coroner, sheriff, deputy sheriff, or jailer,
though qualified, shall be permitted to practice as an attorney in the county in which he or she is
commissioned or appointed, nor shall any clerk of the supreme court or district court be
permitted to practice as an attorney- or counselor-at-law in the court in which he or she is clerk.
