Title protection - use of title

(1) It is unlawful for any person to use the
following titles unless he or she is licensed pursuant to this article 210: "Audiologist", "hearing
and balance audiologist", "vestibular audiologist", or any other title or abbreviation that implies
that the person is an audiologist.
(2) A licensee who has a doctoral degree in audiology is entitled to use the title "Doctor"
or "Dr." when accompanied by the words "Audiologist" or "Audiology" or the letters "Au.D.",
"Ed.D.", "Ph.D.", "Sc.D.", or any other appropriate degree designation, and to use the title
"Doctor of Audiology".
