Active military personnel - exemptions from licensing requirements

(1) 
Each board or division that regulates persons licensed, certified, or registered pursuant to this
title 12 shall exempt licensed, certified, or registered military personnel who have been called to
federally funded active duty for more than one hundred twenty days for the purpose of serving in
a war, emergency, or contingency from the payment of any professional or occupational license,
certification, or registration fees, including renewal fees, and from any continuing education or
professional competency requirements pursuant to this title 12 for a renewal cycle that falls
within the period of service or within the six months following the completion of service in the
war, emergency, or contingency.
(2) This section applies to persons licensed, certified, or registered pursuant to this title
12 as it existed on August 8, 2017.
