Application for licensing

(1) An applicant shall submit an application
that includes evidence of education and practical experience as required by section 12-120-413
and the rules of the board. The application shall also include a statement that the applicant has
never been denied licensure as an architect or been disciplined with regard to the practice of
architecture or practiced architecture in violation of the law. If the board determines that an
applicant has committed any of the acts specified as grounds for discipline under section 12-120-
406 (1), it may deny an application for examination or licensure. The board shall notify the
applicant if it determines that the application is incomplete or otherwise defective and shall
specify the grounds for the determination.
(2) When the board is reviewing or considering conviction of a crime, it shall be
governed by sections 12-20-202 (5) and 24-5-101.
