(1) The board, upon acceptance of an applicant who has demonstrated competence in professional land surveying and upon receipt of payment of the required fee, shall license and issue a unique license number to the applicant. (2) The board, upon acceptance of a qualified land surveyor-intern and upon receipt of payment of the required fee, shall enroll the qualified land surveyor-intern. (3) A license may be issued at any time and is subject to the renewal, expiration, reinstatement, and delinquency fee provisions specified in section 12-20-202 (1) and (2). (4) Any person whose license has expired is subject to the penalties provided in this part 3 or section 12-20-202 (1). (5) A professional land surveyor shall give notice to the board, in writing, of any change of address within thirty days after the change.
