(1) Each application for licensing shall be in a form specified by the board and shall contain statements made under oath showing the applicant's education and showing a detailed summary of the applicant's surveying experience. Each application must contain a statement indicating whether the applicant has ever been convicted of a felony in this or in any other state, or has ever had a surveyor's license revoked, suspended, or not renewed, or has been reprimanded or fined relative to surveying in this or any other state. Applications that are not complete are defective, and the board shall take no action on defective applications except to give notice to the applicant of the defects. A nonrefundable application fee in an amount set by the board shall accompany each application. (2) No new application shall be required of an individual requiring reexamination by the board, and the individual shall be notified when the next examination will be held. (3) Whenever the board is reviewing or considering the conviction of a crime, it shall be governed by the provisions of sections 12-20-202 (5) and 24-5-101.
