Colorado Code § 11-44-118

Commissioner and deputy not to accept gifts. Neither the commissioner nor the commissioner's deputy shall receive or accept any bribe, gratuity, or reward from any person or association for any purpose or knowingly and willfully make any false or fraudulent report of the condition of any association for any purpose. One or more of the directors of an association may be present at an examination of the affairs of an association, but the absence of any or all of the officers or directors does not prevent the commissioner or the commissioner's deputy from proceeding with an examination. (2) of chapter 350 (HB 24-1381), Session Laws of Colorado
2024, provides that the act changing this section applies to the operations of the division of
financial services, the commissioner of financial services, the financial services board, credit
unions, savings and loan associations, and life care institutions on or after August 7, 2024,
including the imposition of fines by the commissioner of financial services against a person who
violates a cease-and-desist order or a suspension or removal order.
