In the case of liability for care arising under Section 7275 during the lifetime of a decedent, in which the decedent has been a patient in a state hospital preceding the date of decedentâs death, a claim for costs and charges shall be mailed within four months after written request therefor, in the form required by the department, by the fiduciary of the estate or trust or by any other person liable for the claim or any portion thereof.
