(a) A regional center with which the department maintains a contract pursuant to Section 4629 shall be subject to the California Public Records Act (Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 7920.000) of Division 10 of Title 1 of the Government Code). (b) This section shall become operative on January 1, 2026.
