Unless the context otherwise requires, the following definitions govern the construction of this division: (a) “Bay-delta” means the San Francisco Bay/Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Estuary. (b) “Board” means the State Water Resources Control Board. (c) “CALFED” refers to a consortium of five state agencies, including the Resources Agency, the department, the Department of Fish and Game, the California Environmental Protection Agency, and the board, and five federal agencies, including the United States Department of Interior, the United States Bureau of Reclamation, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Marine Fisheries Service, with management and regulatory responsibilities in the bay-delta. (d) “Clean Water Act” means the federal Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C.A. Sec. 1251 et seq.) and includes any amendments thereto. (e) “Committee” means the Safe, Clean, Reliable Water Supply Finance Committee created pursuant to Section 78693. (f) “Delta” means the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. (g) “Department” means the Department of Water Resources. (h) “Fund” means the Safe, Clean, Reliable Water Supply Fund created pursuant to Section 78505.
