(a) A director, when sitting on the board or acting under its orders, shall receive not exceeding: (1) One hundred dollars ($100) per day, not exceeding six days in any calendar month. (2) Actual and necessary expenses while engaged in official business under the order of the board. (b) For purposes of this section, the determination of whether a directorâs activities on any specific day are compensable shall be made pursuant to Article 2.3 (commencing with Section 53232) of Chapter 2 of Part 1 of Division 2 of Title 5 of the Government Code. (c) Reimbursement for these expenses is subject to Sections 53232.2 and 53232.3 of the Government Code.
