During such time as the provisions of this chapter are effective in the district pursuant to a resolution adopted under authority of Section 37175, any person may elect to pay delinquent assessments in installments under this chapter at any time before a collectorâs deed of the property has been delivered, except that if payment of delinquent assessments has been started under this chapter and the amount required to be paid in any fiscal year is not paid as required by this chapter, payment in installments may not again be started with respect to the same delinquent assessments.
