On receipt of the redemption money plus the amount of the recorderâs fee fixed in this article the collector shall make out duplicate certificates of redemption reciting the payment and stating the date and number of the certificate of sale to which the redemption applies. If a collectorâs deed is outstanding at the time of redemption the certificate of redemption shall also state the date of the deed and the place, book, and page at which it was recorded and shall constitute redemption from the deed, as well as all outstanding certificates of sale on the property.
