As used in this article, âhouseboatâ means a watercraft or industrial or commercial structure on or in the waters of the state, floating or nonfloating, which is designed or fitted out as a place of habitation and is not principally used for transportation. âHouseboatâ includes platforms, and waterborne hotels and restaurants. âCity or countyâ means any city, county, city and county, or port authority.
