The Santa Barbara County Flood Control and Water Conservation District shall give assurances satisfactory to the Secretary of the Army that local cooperation, required by Section 3 of the Flood Control Act of 1936 (Public Law 738â74th Congress), as amended by Section 2 of the Flood Control Act of 1938 (Public Law 761â75th Congress), will be furnished by the district in connection with the project for flood protection adopted and authorized in Section 12748.5.
