Pending construction of the unit described in Section 11252, herein designated âNew Hogan,â the department may acquire and operate as a unit of the project, separate and apart from any or all other units thereof, the existing Hogan Dam and Reservoir and appurtenant works, herein designated âOld Hogan,â located on the Calaveras River and owned by the City of Stockton, and may integrate the operation thereof with âNew Hoganâ when it is constructed.
