To help streamline water data reporting, the department and the board shall do all of the following: (a) Identify urban water reporting requirements shared by both agencies, and post on each agencyâs Internet Web site how the data is used for planning, regulatory, or other purposes. (b) Analyze opportunities for more efficient publication of urban water reporting requirements within each agency, and analyze how each agency can integrate various data sets in a publicly accessible location, identify priority actions, and implement priority actions identified in the analysis. (c) Make appropriate data pertaining to the urban water reporting requirements that are collected by either agency available to the public according to the principles and requirements of the Open and Transparent Water Data Act (Part 4.9 (commencing with Section 12400)).
