(a) Beginning July 1, 2008, the fee described in Section 9250 shall be increased by three dollars ($3). (b) Two dollars ($2) of the increase shall be deposited into the Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Fund created by Section 44273 of the Health and Safety Code, and one dollar ($1) shall be deposited into the Enhanced Fleet Modernization Subaccount created by Section 44126 of the Health and Safety Code. (c) This section shall become inoperative on July 1, 2035, and, as of January 1, 2036, is repealed.
