Notwithstanding subparagraph (C) of paragraph (1) of subdivision (c) of Section 621 or Section 13004, âemploymentâ does not include service as a transcriber of depositions, court proceedings, and hearings performed away from the office of the person, firm, or association obligated to produce a transcript of these proceedings.
