(a) It is a violation of this chapter for any person or business entity to procure, counsel, advise, or coerce anyone to willfully make a false statement or representation, or to knowingly fail to disclose a material fact in order to lower or avoid any contribution or to avoid being or remaining subject to this division. (b) It is a violation of this chapter for any person or business entity to willfully aid or assist anyone in making a false statement or representation, or in knowingly failing to disclose a material fact, in order to lower or avoid any contribution, or to avoid being or remaining subject to this division. (c) For purposes of this section, âbusiness entityâ means a partnership, corporation, association, limited liability company, or Indian tribe, as described in Section 3306(u) of Title 26 of the United States Code, or any other legal entity.
