âIntersecting streetâ means any âstreetâ which meets or crosses a âpedestrian mallâ at a âmall intersectionâ but includes only those portions thereof on either side of a âmall intersectionâ which lie between the âmall intersectionâ and the first intersection of the âintersecting streetâ with a public street or highway open to vehicular traffic. If any portion of a âpedestrian mallâ terminates on a âstreetâ at a place thereon other than a place of intersection with a public street or highway open to vehicular traffic, âintersecting streetâ also includes that portion of any âstreetâ which lies between such place of termination and the first intersection of such âstreetâ with a public street or highway open to vehicular traffic. âIntersecting streetâ shall also include any other âstreetâ or portion thereof which the legislative body, in its resolution adopted pursuant to Section 11200, declares to be such.
