The commission may require each internet service provider, as defined in Section 3100 of the Civil Code, to report the following information regarding each free, low-cost, income-qualified, or affordable internet service plan advertised by the provider: (a) The cost of the plan, including any fees and taxes. (b) The eligibility requirements for the plan. (c) The data limitations of the plan. (d) The number of California residents enrolled in the plan. (e) A description of the outreach efforts undertaken by the provider to eligible populations to increase awareness about the plan.
