A participating electrical corporation shall maintain reasonable insurance coverage. The administrator shall periodically review and make a recommendation as to the appropriate amount of insurance coverage required, taking into account the availability of insurance, the electrical corporationâs service territory, including the fire risk of the territory, the size of the territory, and the value of the real estate in the territory, the safety record of the electrical corporation, the wildfire mitigation measures implemented by the electrical corporation, the impact to the ratepayers, and other factors deemed appropriate by the administrator.
