Within 30 days after receipt of the resolution or resolutions of the legislative body or bodies or receipt of the certification of the sufficiency of a petition by the secretary of the district, the board shall by resolution designate the special service district as âSan Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District, Special Service District No. ____ (here insert number)â (all such special service districts shall be numbered consecutively), shall fix a time and place for a hearing on the proposed creation of the special service district and shall not later than five days after fixing the time and place of hearing publish notice thereof.
