(a) Except for the Mayor of the City of Fresno, the members of the authority shall serve for a term of two years. (b) If any member other than the public member ceases to be an elected official, that member shall cease to be a member of the authority, and another member shall be appointed for the remainder of the term pursuant to Section 142051.
